DAY 1 : arrival, welcome and transfer to the Grand Calao.

DAY 2 : departure for PO and stop at TIEBELE in the heart of the Gourounsi’s country. You will visit this wonderful village as well as TIAKANE, famous for its typical huts (dark rooms and endless corridors) and nicely decorated with colorful features. Night at Lido hotel.

DAY 3 : departure for TENKODOGO, one of the historical capital cities of the Mossi’s Empire (main ethnic group in Burkina). Meeting with traditional chiefs of the region. Dinner and night in Djamou hotel.

DAY 4 : visiting the open air museum of LAONGO : site of carving on granite made by artists from all over the world. Stop in order to see the traditional wonderful gold sites…Visiting the 7 earthen mosques of BANI before going to KAYA to spend dinner and night at Kaziende hotel.

DAY 5 : departure for the Sahel, a region where you can meet the Touareg : true masters of the desert ; Bellahs, their former slaves and Fulanis, breeders and nomads. You will see them on marketplaces where they exchange items get information and chat… Arrival in the afternoon for dinner and night in the Amitie hotel in GOROM-GOROM.

DAY 6 : you will join MARKOYE or OURSI : very nice small sahelian towns that you will enjoy very much. In the afternoon you will join DORI. Dinner and night at Sahel hotel or similar.

DAY 7 : long stop at ARIBINDA to admire rock paints. After a pick-nick,  you will join the path to reach OUAHIGOUYA in the end of the afternoon. Night and dinner at Dunia hotel.

DAY 8 : you will join the Lake Bam and then KONGOUSSI, capital city of French beans. In the afternoon, you visit the museum of “bendrologie” ( language of drums ) in MANEGA ; it is an ethnological treasure whith gather sacred masks, traditional music instruments, grave stones, statues and remaking of traditional life’s scenes. Arrival at OUAGADOUGOU in the end of the afternoon ; dinner and night at Grand Calao.

DAY 9 : departure for BOBO DIOULASSO (Western Burkina) with a stop to the pond of sacred crocodiles at SABOU where you will attend to the meeting of chickens and crocodiles. Lunch in the encampment of Boromo ; there, you will maybe meet elephants. Stop in WAHABOU to make some pictures of the muddy mosque. Then last stop for visiting a bobo village located on rocks :KORO. Dinner and night in the Auberge hotel.

DAY 10 : greenness, traditional, BOBO is the second city of Burkina. Visiting the city : the museum, the old quarters, the rail-road station and the muddy mosque. In the afternoon, small trip to the pond of the sacred catfishes. Music night ( balafon, drum) for those who sleep very late. Night at Auberge hotel.

DAY 11 : going toward BANFORA where you will see fields of sugar cane before arriving to the domes of FABEDOUGOU. Small wandering toward KERFIGUELA’s waterfalls where you can swim. In the afternoon, you will meet hippopotamus on the TENGRELA’s lake. Dinner and night at Canne à Sucre hotel.

DAY 12 : trip toward the Lobi’s country and going through Senoufo’s villages and green landscapes. Stop at the ruins of LOROPENI (of unknown origin), then in OBIRE where you will maybe meet the Gan’s king (Gan are a small ethnic group who refuse any external influence). Night at Hala hotel.

DAY 13 : visiting the museum of GAOUA, an indispensable gate way to the initiation of the Lobi culture (photos, statues, useful objects, explanatory sign boards). Day devoted to the visit of Lobi’s villages. You will maybe attend to traditional ceremonies. Night at Hala hotel.

DAY 14 : visiting of a fortress cave, maybe a German vestige of World War1. Lunch at LEO, and back to Ouagadougou in the afternoon. Dinner and night at Grand Calao.

DAY 15 : town trip of OUAGADOUGOU in the morning : craftsmen's center, bronze makers, market. After the lunch, last shopping and check at the airport.

This tour is possible all along the year.
