The vegetation of the Park is particularly varied : wooded savannah, forests, rivers, etc. These facts allow the possibility to many kinds of West African animals and birds to live in request conditions for a good development. With a little chance you will have the opportunity to surprise lions, buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles…

Though, it is also a trip into the Gourmantche's way of life that we're offering you as man has always been present in this region. Fervent animist, he keeps alive his culture and traditions in harmony with nature. You will discover these small age-old villages.

DAY 1 : arrival, welcome and transfer to Mercure**** Silmande.

DAY 2 : on the way to the province of GOURMA (east of Burkina Faso), you will cross the Mossi's plateau with its traditional huts. At the end of the afternoon, arrival to the Arli Hotel.

DAY 3 : living early in the morning to drop in inexpectedly on the Park's animals, you'll cover the tracks (over 320 miles) to discover and appreciate that fabulous country. Picnic on the river banks or under a tree to be back to the hotel by the end of the afternoon.

DAY 4 : another day to go further in the discovery of that wild life : the guide will share you his experience and make you dream thanks’ to all the adventures that happened to him. You will also meet fishermen with their baskets full of fishes, guardians of the forest and villagers. Later, in the hotel, you will enjoy the pleasure of the swimming pool while waiting for diner.

DAY 5 : walking to a part of the GOBNANGOU cliff, who was inhabited long before the Gourmantches arrival. Lunch in NADIABONLI, near a pond. With our guide, interpreter, we will meet the traditional dyers of NAGARE, the craftsmen of MAAGADA, the villagers of TANSARGA…Diner and night in the Arli Hotel.

DAY 6 : departure for PARTIAGA, to meet the King of Bissougou ; himself, or one of his minister will guide you in the village telling you their history and their way of life. You will go to the gold field of DIAPAGA where many men work under the sun, to find the precious metal…

DAY 7 : early in the morning, you will walk to the observation post of POUGIEGA ("the short women" in Gourmantche), overhanging the Arli River. There, you will enjoy the ballet offer by the animals coming to drink… You will continue on OUAGADOUGOU, with a stop at TAMBARGA, to admire the fairy funnels. Arrival at Mercure Silmande in the end of the afternoon.

DAY 8 : town trip of OUAGADOUGOU in the morning : craftsmen's center, bronze makers, market. After the lunch, last shopping and check at the airport.
